The Government of Kerala has initiated the scheme to provide financial assistance in the form of grants to the artisans in the handicrafts sector for setting up handicraft enterprises. The assistance is a one-time support to eligible artisans of the state as back-end assistance. The Scheme aims to replace the existing scheme and bring the artisans in the handicrafts sector under the ambit of a single scheme for availing financial assistance in the form of grant assistance for setting up handicraft enterprises.

A scheme to develop private entrepreneurs for undertaking cattle and buffalo breeding through establishment of breed multiplication farms (BMF). The scheme provides 50% capital subsidy (limited to Rs. 2.00 Crore) to interested entrepreneurs for construction of cattle sheds, equipment, and procurement of elite breeding animals. Entrepreneurs will produce disease-free elite heifers using sexed semen or IVF technology and establish BMFs to serve as training centres for farmers and entrepreneurs.

Provides recruitment assistance of ₹10,000 per fresher to eligible Information Technology units in Goa that recruit freshers through campus placement from educational institutes located in Goa. The scheme aims to support both new and existing IT units operating in Goa.

Launched in 2018, the Capital Investment Subsidy Scheme is one of the Information Technology Policy Schemes by the Department of Information Technology, Government of Goa. The scheme provides Capital Investment Subsidy to eligible Information Technology Units in the State of Goa. New and Existing Units having their operations in Goa are eligible. The scheme aims to foster investment and expansion of IT Units in the state.

Launched in 2018, this scheme provides capital investment subsidy up to 20% on capital investments made by New Units developing office spaces. It is part of Goa's IT Policy to establish Goa as an aspirational geographical and human resource base for IT Units and a preferred destination for investment and expansion. A subsidy scheme for new IT/ITES industrial units that commenced production on or after 6-11-2002. A component of the Motivation of Entrepreneurs to Start Industries and Fiscal Assistance to Industries Scheme by the Department of Industrial Development (Industries and Commerce), Union Territory of Puducherry. Through this scheme, new industrial units which started production on or after 5th August 2009 by physically handicapped entrepreneurs and Ex-Servicemen are eligible for capital investment subsidy at the rate of 25% for investments made on land, building and plant and machinery, subject to a maximum of ₹25,00,000 for micro and small manufacturing enterprises.

Employment generation scheme to promote entrepreneurship and self-employment by providing subsidized term loans and margin money for establishment of new micro/small/medium enterprises across manufacturing, service, and agro-processing sectors.

A scheme by the Government of Goa for startups to receive reimbursement for seats occupied at co-working spaces, incubators, and accelerators listed by the Startup Promotion Cell (SPC). Startups are reimbursed 50% of seat cost with maximum benefits of ₹3000 per seat at co-working spaces, ₹5000 per seat at incubators, and ₹6000 per seat at accelerators, with a cap of 8 seats per startup.

CITUS is a component of Coir Vikas Yojana launched to provide modern infrastructure facilities to coir production units. It aims to improve productivity and quality, support establishment of state-of-the-art coir processing units, spread the industry to potential areas, promote enhanced utilization of raw materials, create employment opportunities especially for women in rural areas, attract new generation entrepreneurs, modernize existing units, promote IT/ERP installation, support high-value products, make the industry integrated and competitive, facilitate eco-friendly techniques, and achieve a pollution-free coir industry with technological advancements.

Central Sector Scheme implemented by Coir Board to improve export performance of Indian Coir Sector through export market promotion activities including sponsoring delegations, participation in seminars and conferences, organizing participation in international fairs, undertaking generic publicity abroad, extending financial assistance to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Exporters, and presenting Coir Industry Awards annually to recognize outstanding performance in export, domestic trade, R&D, and functioning of units and societies.

A financial support scheme by the Social Welfare Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, designed to provide social security to marginal workers on a contributory basis. The scheme operates for 5 or 10 years, with contributions from both the state (₹300 per quarter) and beneficiary (₹200 per quarter). The accumulated amount is deposited in a bank account pledged to the District Social Welfare Officer and can be withdrawn or reinvested in a pension scheme upon completion.

Design scheme helps MSMEs avail advice on all aspects of design through design consultants and experienced designers. It facilitates development of new design strategies, design-related products, and new product development as well as enhancing existing product portfolio. The scheme is divided into two major parts: Design Projects (providing financial assistance for design interventions and consultancy) and Design Awareness Programme (creating awareness about the value of design through seminars, talks, workshops).

The Digital MSME Scheme aims to make MSMEs digitally empowered by motivating them to adopt Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools and cloud-based applications in their production and business processes. Implemented under the MSME Champions umbrella by the Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME), it offers subsidised access to cloud computing services, ERP, CRM, and other ICT applications to registered MSMEs. The scheme covers all MSMEs registered under the MSMED Act 2006 (as amended) and those included via executive orders by the Office of the DC (MSME). Service providers empanelled by DC (MSME) deliver cloud-based ICT solutions at subsidised rates, with the government reimbursing the subscription cost directly to the service provider. It is an ongoing component of the MSME Champions Scheme aimed at improving MSME competitiveness in national and international markets.

The Direct Lending Scheme provides direct loans for the economic upliftment of members of the Scheduled Castes and Handicapped People in Punjab. Through the Punjab Scheduled Castes Land Development & Finance Corporation (PSCLDFC), eligible applicants can obtain loans for various economic activities. This is a 100% State Sponsored Scheme.

Under this scheme, law graduates belonging to the Scheduled Caste who intend to start independent legal practice will receive financial assistance for the purchase of business premises/shops. The scheme provides ₹12,000/- financial assistance, of which ₹7,000/- will be a 4% interest loan, and ₹5,000/- will be a subsidy.

The scheme provides loans and financial assistance to Scheduled Caste Medical Graduates possessing qualifications such as M.B.B.S, B.S.A.M, B.A.M.S, B.A.M (Ayurveda), B.D.S (Dental), Homeopathic Degree/BHMS and DHMS in Diploma to start their independent medical profession.

Scheme provides loans/financial assistance to Scheduled Caste Medical Post Graduate (M.D/M.S) Doctors to start their independent profession/clinic consultation room, etc. Beneficiaries receive a subsidy/assistance of ₹50,000/- and a loan of up to ₹3,00,000/- at an interest rate of 4%.

A wage/employment subsidy scheme providing 20% of wage/salary up to a maximum of ₹5,00,000 per annum for workers covered under Provident Fund (PF). New units commencing production on or after 2-8-2004 are eligible for 5 years from the date of commencement of production. At least 60% of employment must be provided to residents of Union Territory of Puducherry, and units must provide direct employment to at least 10 persons.

Wage/Employment subsidy scheme providing 20% wage/salary subsidy up to a maximum of ₹5,00,000 per annum for workers covered under Provident Fund. The scheme aims to motivate entrepreneurs to start industries and provides fiscal assistance through employment incentives. Subsidy is provided for 5 years in Puducherry and Karaikal regions, and 7 years in Mahe and Yanam regions.

The Entrepreneur Support Scheme (ESS) is operated by the Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Government of Kerala. It aims to provide financial assistance to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises engaged in manufacturing activities in the State, proportional to the capital investment made. Depending upon the category of the investor, sector, and the District of investment, the unit can avail subsidy from 15% to 45% of the fixed capital investment. The scheme provides assistance in 3 stages: Start-up Support, Investment Support, and Technology Support.

This programme aims to tap the expertise available in the large pool of Agriculture graduates and create gainful self-employment opportunities for unemployed agricultural graduates, agricultural diploma holders, intermediate in agriculture and biological science graduates, with PG in agri-related courses. The scheme provides full financial support for training and handholding, provision of loans, and credit-linked back-ended composite subsidy. A 45 days specialized training is provided by selected institutes across the country.

A sub-scheme under National Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Hub (NSSH) scheme that provides reimbursement to SC/ST Micro & Small Enterprises (MSEs) on annual membership subscription fees, one-time subscription charges, or entry fees charged by various Export Promotion Councils (EPCs).

The Feed and Fodder Entrepreneurship Scheme aims to establish an effective seed production chain, build capacity of state functionaries and livestock owners in forage production, conservation and utilization, and establish convergence among ongoing programmes for fodder resource development. The scheme provides 50% direct capital subsidy to beneficiaries for establishing feed and fodder enterprises and 100% subsidy on fodder seed production. It supports procuring machinery like Bailers, Block making machines, TMR machines, and Forage Harvesters.

The scheme facilitates self-employment of unemployed disabled persons by providing financial assistance for self-employment, small-scale business, and agro-based projects. Financial assistance of up to ₹1,50,000 is provided, with 80% loan from nationalized banks and 20% subsidy from the department.

Through this scheme, financial assistance is provided to eligible fishermen for setting up units in estuarine waters, and in open sea. The scheme offers 50% subsidy limited to ₹25,000 per unit (maximum 2 units) for estuarine waters with unit size 4m x 4m, and 50% subsidy limited to ₹40,000 per unit (maximum 2 units) for open sea with unit size 6m x 6m.

A scheme by the Department of Fisheries, Government of Goa, providing financial assistance as a subsidy of 50% of the cost for construction, renovation, or equipment purchase to individuals interested in setting up units for value-added fisheries products.

GOBARdhan was launched by the Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation in April 2018 as part of the Solid and Liquid Waste Management component under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) to positively impact village cleanliness and generate wealth and energy from cattle and organic waste. The scheme supports villages in effectively managing their cattle waste, agricultural waste/residue, and all other organic waste. The Generator Subsidy scheme provides 50% subsidy with a cap of ₹5,00,000 per industrial unit on investments made on or after 5th March 2009 on generator sets for micro, small and medium industrial units in the manufacturing and service sectors.

A scheme that provides 50% subsidy to industrial units of micro, small, medium and large industries for the purchase and installation of generators. The subsidy ceiling is ₹5,00,000 per annum per industrial unit. Subsidies are disbursed through financial institutions/banks for financed units or directly to self-financed entrepreneurs.

The scheme aims to incentivize entrepreneurs to establish new coir industries or revitalize existing ones in Puducherry. It provides margin money grant upon receipt of a financial institution's sanction order for a project worth ₹1,00,00,000, with the grant capped at 25% or ₹25,00,000, whichever is lower.

This scheme aims to encourage entrepreneurs to set up Silk Weaving Units in Puducherry by providing margin money grants that reduce the initial financial burden while availing term loan/working capital loan from financial institutions.

The scheme aims to meet the needs of handloom weavers for assistance on a larger scale for looms and accessories. It provides financial assistance for technological up-gradation to improve the quality of the fabric and productivity. Under HSS, financial assistance to the extent of 90% of the cost of technological up-gradation items shall be borne by the Govt. of India while the remaining 10% shall be borne by the beneficiary.

The scheme provides subsidy to entrepreneurs and farmers interested in commercial broiler poultry farming in Himachal Pradesh. It aims to provide good nutrition to the state population, augment rural income, double farmer income, increase rural employment, and produce high-grade manure at minimal cost.

A scheme launched by the Rajasthan government to empower women entrepreneurs by providing financial assistance and support. The main objectives are to encourage women to start their own businesses and become financially independent, promote self-employment and reduce unemployment among women in Rajasthan, and support the growth of MSMEs led by women.

A component of the Motivation of Entrepreneurs to Start Industries and Fiscal Assistance to Industries scheme by the Industries and Commerce Department, Union Territory of Puducherry. 25% subsidy is provided to industrial units and infrastructure developers who have made investments on building with a minimum extent of 50,000 sq. ft. constructed area for IT and biotechnology industries.

The scheme aims to capacity build MSMEs for entering the export market by facilitating their participation in international exhibitions/fairs/conferences/seminars/buyer-seller meets abroad as well as providing them with actionable market-intelligence and reimbursement of various costs involved in the export of goods and services. The scheme covers participation in international events, organizing international conferences/seminars in India and abroad, and providing market development assistance through both physical and virtual mediums.

Launched in 2018, the Internet Subsidy Scheme is one of the Information Technology Policy Schemes by the Department of Information Technology, Government of Goa. It provides Internet Subsidy to eligible Information Technology Units in the State of Goa. The scheme offers 25% reimbursement on high-speed bandwidth, subject to a maximum of ₹5,00,000 per annum, whichever is lower, for a period of three years from the date of commencement of operations or from the date of notification of this policy, whichever is later.

The Kerala Stressed MSMEs Revival & Rehabilitation Scheme intends to provide financial and other handholding support to MSMEs which show signs of stress and to convert their non-productive assets into productive assets. This scheme aims to revive micro, small and medium manufacturing enterprises in Kerala that suffer due to stressed assets. The maximum assistance admissible for each unit, all reliefs and assistances put together, under the scheme will be limited to ₹5 Lakh.

Khadi Gramodyog Vikas Yojana is an umbrella scheme to increase productivity and wages of Khadi Artisans, improve infrastructure for Khadi production, develop village industries, revive traditional skills of rural artisans, renovate and modernize sales outlets, and promote marketing and exports. Launched in 2018, the scheme aims to provide Land/Built-up Area Rebate to the IT Industry in the state of Goa. It offers a one-time rebate for the purchase of Land for creating IT Office Space and for the purchase of Built-Up office space for IT operations. The Lease Rental Subsidy Scheme, launched in 2018, provides lease rental subsidy to eligible Information Technology Units in the State of Goa. The scheme aims to foster Goa as a preferred investment destination for IT units and offers reimbursement of up to 50% of annual lease rentals (60% if 30% or more employees are women) for a period of 2 years. It also covers reimbursement of upfront lease premium for units availing land from GIDC or Government Agencies.

A subsidy scheme implemented by the Leather Industries Development Corporation (LIDCOM), Government of Maharashtra, for the Scheduled Caste Charmakar Community. The scheme provides 50% subsidy on a maximum loan amount of ₹50,000 (subject to a maximum subsidy limit of ₹10,000) to economically weak individuals below the poverty line, with the objective of uplifting the lifestyle and developing them educationally, economically, and socially.

A scheme by the Leather Industries Development Corporation (LIDCOM), Govt. of Maharashtra, being implemented for Roadside Cobblers from the Scheduled Caste Charmakar Community. The scheme provides 100% subsidy for erection of a Tin Stall of size 4' x 5' x 6.5' costing ₹16,367/- per stall and ₹500/- incidental charges. The main objective is to uplift the lifestyle of Charmakars (Dhor, Chambhar, Holar, Mochi, etc.) who are economically weak and below the poverty line, and develop them educationally, economically, and socially.

A general term loan scheme for Safai Karamchari, Manual Scavengers, and their dependants aged 18 years and above for procurement of sanitation-related vehicles and viable income-generating schemes. Term loans are extended through State Channelising Agencies (SCA), Regional Rural Banks (RRBs), and Nationalised Banks.

The scheme aims to assist MSME enterprises in Tamil Nadu by providing a 20% electricity cost subsidy for 36 months from the commencement of production or obtaining power connection, whichever is later. Subsidy is provided after allotment of an Entrepreneur Memorandum (Part 2) number from the District Industries Centres.

The Madhugram Scheme (also known as Maun Palan Yojana or Madhu Vikas Yojana) is an Uttarakhand government initiative aimed at motivating unemployed youth for self-employment through beekeeping and honey production. The scheme provides up to 80% subsidy to establish honey production units in rural areas, with the goal of reducing migration to cities and making the state self-sufficient in honey production.

Skill development training and family empowerment scheme for unorganized women workers including domestic workers, contract workers, porters, and hamals. A scheme by the Industries and Commerce Department, Union Territory of Puducherry that provides assistance worth 50% of total rent, literature and display material (subject to a maximum of ₹5,00,000) to industrial units for participation in international trade fairs as an industry association. The scheme came into force with effect from 1st April 2017 and is in operation in the whole of the UT of Puducherry.

Launched in 2018, this scheme provides market support to eligible Information Technology Units in the State of Goa. It offers a reimbursement of 50% of the exhibition rental cost for participating in national/international exhibitions, limited to 9 square meters of space. The scheme is part of Goa's IT Policy that envisages Goa as an aspirational geographical and human resource base for IT Units and a preferred destination for their investment and expansion.

The Migrants Employment Generation Programme (MEGP) is designed for Non-Resident Tamils who returned to Tamil Nadu due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The scheme aims to generate employment opportunities by converting eligible returnees into small-scale entrepreneurs through microenterprises in manufacturing, service, and business sectors. It provides collateral-free loans with government subsidy, mandatory entrepreneurship training, and marketing support.

Mission Solar Charkha is a pilot project that envisages setting up of Solar Charkha Clusters in focal villages and surrounding villages within a radius of 8-10 kilometres. Each cluster will have 200-2042 beneficiaries (spinners, weavers, stitches, and other skilled artisans). The scheme aims to generate direct employment of nearly one lakh persons across 50 approved clusters with a budget of 550 crores for 2018-19 and 2019-20.

The scheme was launched by the Union Territory of Puducherry in 2006 to encourage self-employment among unemployed persons in manufacturing and service sector enterprises. Applicants can get loans from ₹10,000 to ₹2,00,000 with subsidy support to set up startups.

A scheme launched by the Government of Odisha to increase the catch per voyage and incomes of traditional fishermen by providing financial assistance and subsidy for motorizing their traditional non-motorized fishing crafts.

The MSME Competitive (Lean) Scheme aims to enhance the domestic and global competitiveness of MSMEs through the application of various Lean Techniques, including reduction in rejection rates, product and raw material movements and product cost; optimization of space utilization and resources; and enhancement of quality, production, export capabilities, workplace safety, knowledge, skill set, innovative work culture, social and environmental accountability, profitability, Industry 4.0 awareness, and digital empowerment.

The scheme aims to fulfill the skilled manpower requirement of MSMEs by imparting necessary on-the-job training by the MSMEs themselves and thereby creating employment. The scheme assists the MSME sector by sharing the training cost which otherwise would be borne by the enterprises themselves. MSMEs provide employment-based job-oriented on-the-job training which will lead to certification.

The ZED Certification envisages promotion of Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED) practices amongst MSMEs to encourage manufacturing of quality products using latest technology, develop an ecosystem for ZED Manufacturing, promote adoption of ZED practices, and increase public awareness on demanding Zero Defect and Zero Effect products.

An extensive drive to create awareness amongst MSMEs about Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED) practices and motivate and incentivize them for ZED Certification while encouraging them to become MSME Champions. The scheme promotes quality manufacturing, environmental consciousness, waste reduction, and enhanced competitiveness.

The MSME Trade Enablement and Marketing (TEAM) Initiative is a sub-scheme under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme with a total outlay of Rs.277.35 crore for FY 2024-2027. It leverages the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) ecosystem to onboard Micro and Small Enterprises onto e-commerce platforms, reducing the burden of building independent digital infrastructure. The scheme targets 5 lakh MSEs of which at least 50% must be women-owned enterprises, and is implemented through the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC). Seller Network Participants (SNPs) registered on ONDC assist MSMEs with onboarding, digital training, and market expansion support. Eligible enterprises receive onboarding support, multilingual e-commerce access (Hindi and English initially), and integration with platforms like MSME Global Mart and e-Khadi Portal.

A government scheme aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and providing financial assistance to the sons and daughters of farmers to establish their agro-based businesses. The scheme provides loans ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹10,00,000 with subsidies on capital cost and interest subventions to help economically weak farmers become self-reliant entrepreneurs.

A self-employment scheme launched on 1 August 2014 by the Madhya Pradesh government to provide loans up to ₹50,000 to ₹10,00,000 to citizens for establishing employment and starting businesses. The scheme provides margin money assistance, interest subsidy, loan guarantee, and training to beneficiaries.

The scheme aims to provide required illumination for weaving on the loom and preparatory workplaces for bobbin winding, tie-dye making, etc., along with a fan for smooth working. It facilitates weaving during late evening hours, electricity failures, or low voltage situations. The scheme improves weaver health by reducing eye strain and fatigue, and allows weavers to work longer hours for higher production and better earnings.

PM SVANidhi (PM Street Vendor AtmaNirbhar Nidhi) is a Central Government scheme launched in June 2020 under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs to provide affordable collateral-free working capital loans to urban street vendors. The Union Cabinet restructured and extended the scheme on August 27, 2025, with the lending period extended until March 31, 2030 and a total outlay of Rs.7,332 crore.
