Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

To use Saarthika, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be a proprietor, partner, director, or authorised representative of a business registered in India, or a professional (CA, consultant, or advisor) assisting such businesses.
  • Provide accurate and complete information about your business when creating a profile.

By creating an account, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that provide materially false information.

2. Subscription Terms

Saarthika offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected at checkout.

  • Auto-renewal: Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle using the payment method on file via Razorpay. You will receive a reminder email before each renewal.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via Subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; you retain access to paid features until then.
  • Price changes: We will provide at least 30 days' notice before increasing subscription prices for existing subscribers.
  • Taxes: All prices shown are inclusive of applicable GST. A GST invoice is issued for each payment.

3. Refund Policy

Saarthika provides a digital subscription service that is delivered immediately upon activation. As such, subscriptions are generally non-refundable.

Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion in cases of:

  • Duplicate charges due to a technical error.
  • Inability to access the paid features due to a verified platform outage.

To request a refund, contact support@saarthika.in within 7 days of the charge.

4. Disclaimer

Saarthika is an informational platform. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial, legal, or tax advice. Scheme eligibility scores are indicative only and are calculated based on the information you provide and publicly available scheme criteria. Actual eligibility is determined by the relevant government authority and may differ.

Saarthika does not guarantee that you will be approved for, or receive benefits from, any government scheme. We are not responsible for changes to scheme criteria, deadlines, or availability made by the Government of India or state governments.

5. Government Data Attribution

Scheme information displayed on Saarthika is sourced from Government of India official publications and portals. This data is used under the Government Open Data License (GODL) — February 2017. The GODL permits use, reproduction, and distribution of government data for any lawful purpose subject to attribution.

Saarthika is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official channel of the Government of India or any state government.

6. Intellectual Property

The Saarthika platform, including its design, code, brand assets, and proprietary algorithms, is owned by Saarthika and protected by applicable IP law. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without written permission.

Government data published under GODL is in the public domain subject to attribution requirements set out in the GODL.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Saarthika and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of data, or missed scheme benefits.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Saarthika in the 3 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.

We encourage you to contact support@saarthika.in to resolve disputes informally before initiating legal proceedings.

9. B2B Terms (CAs and Consultants)

If you use Saarthika as a CA firm, consultant, or advisory firm to manage client profiles, the following additional terms apply:

  • Data processor agreement: You act as a data fiduciary for your clients' data. Saarthika acts as your data processor for the purpose of scheme matching. By registering an organisation, you agree to Saarthika's data processing terms.
  • Client data ownership: Business profile data entered on behalf of your clients remains your property and your clients' property. Saarthika does not use client data for any purpose other than providing the service to your organisation.
  • Seat limits: Your subscription plan includes a fixed number of user seats (team members) and client profiles. Exceeding these limits requires an upgrade. Current seat and client limits are shown in your Billing settings (accessible from your organisation dashboard).
  • Authorised use: You are responsible for ensuring that all members of your organisation use the platform in accordance with these Terms and applicable law, including the DPDPA 2023.
