Ministry of Minority Affairs
A program launched by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, in 2015 to preserve the rich heritage of traditional arts and crafts of minorities and to provide employment opportunities to minority youth in these sectors. Master craftsmen and artisans are provided with training to upgrade their skills and become trainers. They then train minority youth in traditional arts and crafts. The scheme provides support for market linkages development.
