MSME Champions Scheme is formulated through Standing Finance Committee (SFC) by merging all 6 components of erstwhile Credit Linked Capital Subsidy and Technology Upgradation Scheme (CLCS-TUS) for a period of 5 years (2021-22 to 2025-26). It promotes competitiveness amongst MSMEs through wastage reduction via Lean Manufacturing, Design improvement, Intellectual Property Rights awareness, Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED), digital empowerment, and Incubation. It is a holistic approach to unify, synergize and converge various schemes to modernize processes, reduce wastages, sharpen business competitiveness and facilitate National and Global reach. Components: 1) MSME-Sustainable (ZED), 2) MSME-Innovative (Incubation, IPR, Design), 3) MSME-Competitive (Lean), 4) Digital MSME (yet to be launched).
