The scheme 'Empowering Youth for Undertaking Value Added Innovative Translational Research (E-YUVA)' was started by the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) to promote a culture of applied research and need-oriented (societal or industry) entrepreneurial innovation among young students and researchers.
