A financial assistance scheme being implemented since December 2019 by the Department of Handlooms & Textiles, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The objective is to help handloom weavers modernize their equipment and compete with powerloom sector products. ₹24,000/- is provided to every weaver family who owns a handloom.
