The scheme aims to assist MSME enterprises in Tamil Nadu by providing a 20% electricity cost subsidy for 36 months from the commencement of production or obtaining power connection, whichever is later. Subsidy is provided after allotment of an Entrepreneur Memorandum (Part 2) number from the District Industries Centres.
