Wage/Employment subsidy scheme providing 20% wage/salary subsidy up to a maximum of ₹5,00,000 per annum for workers covered under Provident Fund. The scheme aims to motivate entrepreneurs to start industries and provides fiscal assistance through employment incentives. Subsidy is provided for 5 years in Puducherry and Karaikal regions, and 7 years in Mahe and Yanam regions.
